ATHLETE PACKET PICKUP

‘Individuals’ as well as ‘Group’ packets and participant bib numbers will be distributed at the main entrance of Mt. SAC’s Hilmer Lodge stadium. Bib and Packet Distribution Schedule is as follows:

Friday, December 5th from 10:00am until 6:00pm in the Ruh Education Center

Saturday, December 6th from 6:00am until 10:30am in the Ruh Education Center

Friday ‘In-Person’ Registration:

-There is a provision to register in person on Friday, December 5th from 10:00am to 6:00pm at our ‘Problem Registration’ area.

-Once you enter the stadium, look for the signs directing you to ‘Problem Registration’.

-You must be there in person to register on Friday. This service is not available via phone, email or any other type of communication modality.

-This service will NOT be available on Race Day.

COURSE PREVIEW / ATHLETE WARM-UP

Mt. SAC is open for Pre-Race shake out runs and course previews on Friday, December 5th from 10:00am until 6:00pm.

Friday: The course is open for warm up for all participants as well as the grass field located just south of the large scoreboard in Hilmer Lodge Stadium. The practice track facility located south and west of the scoreboard will be open around Mt. SAC Kinesiology classes and In Season athletic teams scheduled classes.

Saturday: The course is open for warm up for all participants as well as the grass field located just south of the large scoreboard in Hilmer Lodge Stadium. The practice track facility will be available for warm up use on this day and pending any post season athletic team needs. LOT M will be open for warm up on Saturday as well.

Important Safety Note regarding Mt. SAC Vehicular Roads: The campus is open for business, and our campus vehicular roads are not shut down on FRIDAY. Pay attention and remind your runners to pay attention ANY time they cross a road. On Saturday, the roads that are a part of our XC course are shut down and monitored but the rest of the campus and surrounding area is still an active college campus and people are driving on the campus roads.

AWARDS

The top 10 boys and girls from the Championship Races will be awarded with a spot in the Brooks XC Championships in San Diego on December 14th.

The top 30 athletes in each race will receive a Championship medal.

PARKING / TRANSPORATION

Friday, December 5: Park in Lot F. This lot is located on the North side of Temple Avenue, directly across from Hilmer Lodge Stadium. There is a tunnel from Lot F to the stadium entry gates so your runners will not have to cross Temple.

Saturday, December 6: Park in Lot F. This lot is located on the North side of Temple Avenue, directly across from Hilmer Lodge Stadium. There is a tunnel from Lot F to the stadium entry gates so your runners will not have to cross Temple.

Bus Parking: Busses will be able to drop off their runners at the tunnel entrance located at the far east end of Lot F, Once you have dropped off please relocate to Lot H. There is no charge to park there and there are restrooms close by for the drivers. Do not park in lot F even if it looks open. You will be asked to leave by Campus Security.

Car / Van Parking: School vans that are marked or painted park for free. All cars will be charged to park. Friday's day rate is $5 and Saturday the event rate is $10. There will be staff in the parking lot on Saturday to collect parking fees. Friday there will be ticket dispensing machines in operation.

Pre-Sale Merchandise

Brooks West XC Championships merchandise will also be sold on Friday during registration. Sales will be on the course race day.

CONCESSIONS

Concessions will be available on Saturday morning of Race Day. There will be a food truck located near the practice field, just south of the big scoreboard.
